The impact of volunteers at Manna
In any given 7-day week currently, Manna has 209 volunteer shifts. We would love for you to serve with us.
Volunteering is a great way to support Manna on Main Street and those we serve. Manna volunteers assist with serving Manna’s sit-down meal, preparing and distribution to-go meals, producing Meals on Wheels meals, various tasks within Manna’s Market, and administrative support.
As part of Manna’s commitment to building a diverse, equitable, inclusive organization, Manna is working to increase the diversity of volunteers who serve with us. Many volunteers interact directly with Manna clients and are a critical part of creating a welcoming, dignified environment for all at Manna.
In Fiscal Year 2022-2023, Manna had 1,329 unduplicated volunteers who served 21,985 hours, which is the equivalent of nearly 11 full-time positions. Manna’s volunteers exemplify the generosity and commitment that the North Penn community has for ending hunger for individuals and families in need.
