Grab & Go: North Penn Region Summer Meals Program

This summer, your children can eat FREE in our community!

Grab & Go Information
In Montgomery County, 15% of children are food insecure. In the North Penn School District, 29% of children receive free or reduced price meals, with three elementary schools at greater than 50% enrollment. During the summer, few resources are available for these children to access healthy meals, creating a regional meal gap in our community.

The Summer Food Service Program, known locally as Grab & Go, is a United States Department of Agriculture initiative to ensure that no child goes hungry during the summer. The North Penn School District is our regional sponsor, preparing meals to be served at community locations and on the go between June 24 and August 16 for ALL children age 1-18, regardless of free or reduced price meal participation during the school year; we want all children in our community to have access to free, nutritious meals. Manna on Main Street, the North Penn School District, the North Penn United Way, HealthSpark Foundation, and the VNA Foundation of Greater North Penn are coordinating this program in our community.
