How to Donate Prepared Food

Manna on Main Street prepares and distributes roughly 11,000 meals a month to people in need through Manna’s Kitchen. We are committed to maintaining the highest level of food safety.

We welcome prepared food donations if they are prepared in a commercial kitchen with a current health department inspection and under the supervision of a ServSafe food manager and meet the following criteria:

  • Food must have been prepared within 5 days of donation.
  • If purchased prepared food, the item must be within 5 days pack date listed on packaging.
  • If not produced the day of donation, food must have been kept refrigerated or frozen prior to transport.

Manna cannot accept:

  • Food delivered hot or warm unless it is within 4 hours of production.
  • Prepared raw fish foods such as sushi, or certain raw proteins like tartar or carpaccio.
  • Alcohol or meals prepared with alcohol
  • Foods that has been partially consumed

Please complete the form below and bring it with you to Manna on Main Street. We also have copies of this form for you to complete at Manna.

Manna accepts prepared food donations 9am-5pm Monday-Friday or 10am-2pm Saturday-Sunday at Manna’s facility in North Penn Commons at 606 East Main St, Lansdale, PA 19446.

Manna approaches everything we do through the lens of serving our neighbors in need with dignity and have established the above criteria with their health and safety in mind. If you ever have any questions regarding prepared food donations, please email Dan Salva, Executive Chef, at Dan@mannaonmain.org.
