Bridges Out Of Poverty

Bridges out of Poverty is a unique training program that shifts the way we understand and approach poverty. Participants will explore values, systems, and strategies for addressing poverty as an individual, community member, and Manna supporter. Join us in learning how we can all collaborate to end poverty in the North Penn community!

The Bridges out of Poverty Training is delivered by Nadja Mummery who is a Bridges Certified Trainer. Nadja and Manna have used this framework, developed by AhaProcess, to help our volunteers, donors, staff, and partner agencies understand how to build a new approach to clients and customers who are from different economic class environments.

Can’t make a Training at Manna?

If your team is unable to attend a training at Manna, we are now able to offer Bridges Trainings at your site if your agency has partnered with Manna in any way. Due to the popularity of this training, we will have to start charging for outside trainings beginning October 1, 2018. These costs include a sponsorship fee, and a charge for mileage traveled outside of the North Penn region.

Fees associated with offsite trainings:

  • Training sponsorship: $112 (includes 3-hour training and 1 hour of prep time)
  • Travel costs (free within the North Penn region): 54.5 cents per mile driven

If you are interested in this option, please click here to fill out a request form.
