Interested in volunteering? Complete all three sections listed below to become a volunteer at Manna!
- Manna on Main Street has an online sign-up system, called Volgistics, through which volunteers can self-schedule volunteer shifts once your account is activated. Please complete this form to register yourself in Volgistics.
- For volunteers 18 or older, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania requires that Manna maintains background clearances on file. If you are age 18 or older, please visit this page for information on how to obtain your background clearances. If you have clearances already, great! We are happy to take copies – no need to go through the process again.
- Complete our Virtual Orientation. First, watch the orientation video linked here and embedded below. It’s an important overview of who and what we are, what we prioritize at Manna, and what you might do while you’re here. Additionally, review Manna’s Volunteer Handbook. This handbook contains important information like what our opportunities are, current age restrictions, how to use the scheduling system and required steps for completing community service. Following these steps, complete this form to confirm you have done so.
Once you have submitted all three clearance documents (or are a minor) and have confirmed your review of the orientation materials, you can expect to be activated within 5-7 business days. If you have completed your required steps but you have not been notified that your account is active, please reach out directly to Meg Currie Teoh, Manna’s Director of Volunteer & Community Engagement, at meg@mannaonmain.org.
