Manna’s Emergency Financial Assistance Program

Manna on Main Street’s Emergency Financial Assistance Program is currently accepting applications. Our program is designed to assist individuals and families who are facing a small, one-time, unexpected financial hardship (like rent or utilities) but can generally manage their ongoing monthly expenses.

Due to the large number of applications to Manna’s Emergency Financial Assistance Program, there may be a delay in response to your application. We will reply to your application within 2 weeks. If approved, you must be able to provide copies of photo ID, proof of income, housing lease and landlord contact information. Checks generally take an additional 7-10 days to be processed.

To apply, you must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Must be a North Penn School District resident
  • Must have not received financial assistance from Manna in the last 12 months
  • Must have monthly income that covers or exceeds all your monthly expenses
  • Financial assistance needed cannot exceed $500

Manna’s Heating Oil/Propane Assistance Program

Manna on Main Street offers a Fuel Oil Assistance program for residents in the greater Lansdale and Montgomery County area. To see if you qualify, first check if your zip code is on our approved list. Additionally, your household income must be at or below 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI).

Zip Codes: 18054, 18074, 18915, 18964, 18969, 19426, 19438, 19440, 19446, 19453, 19454, 19456, 19460, 19464, 19468, 19473, 19478, 19492, 19525 (Montgomery County Only).

How to Apply
To apply, you’ll need to:

  • Complete the online application.
  • Provide a current photo ID. (Current Driver’s License, State ID, Foreign ID or Passport)
  • Submit proof of income for the last 30 days for all your household. (Paystubs/SSDI award letter, W2, Tax return, bank statement, etc.)
  • Supply documents to confirm your name and address, such the front page of your lease agreement and your most recent utility bill.
  • Provide a picture of your fuel gauge.

Information Sharing and Next Steps
Because this is a grant program, your personal details (name and address) will be shared with the grantor and other agencies involved in the program. The Release of Information document is included in your application and grants permission for this sharing.

After you submit your application, please allow two days for Manna’s Client Services to contact you via email or by phone to continue the process. Please be sure your voicemail is active and not full and check your spam/junk folder in case the email goes there.

Please note: Your oil delivery cannot be ordered until your application, the signed release, a picture of your fuel gauge, and all other required documents are received. You will be contacted by Manna’s Client Services to schedule your delivery, so make sure your contact information is accurate. An adult (18 years or older) must be home to sign for the delivery.
